Dumplin Valley Raceway

Dumplin Valley Raceway in Kodak, Tennessee will host the first annual Dumplin Valley Burris Fall Nationals on Saturday, October 26, 2013.

The following go kart racing divisions will make up the feature races:

  • Pro Flathead at 375 pounds
  • Pro Clone at 375 pounds
  • Pro Junior Clone at 320 pounds with a blue restrictor plate
  • Green Plate Clone at 280 pounds
  • Pro Senior Champ, Flatheads at 400 pounds, Animals at 425 pounds

There is a $30 entry fee for the classes listed above. Here is a list of the awards for each of these classes:

  1. Each winner will receive a custom leather Champion Jacket, one set of Burris tires, and a custom-made trophy.
  2. Second place finishers will receive a set of Burris tires and a set of WMS wheels.
  3. Third place finishers will receive two Burris tires and an RLV sprocket and chain pack.
  4. Fourth place finishers will receive two Burris tires and a K&N filter pack.
  5. Fifth place finishers will receive two Burris tires.

The following go kart racing divisions will compete in the regular racing program:

  • Stock Heavy Flathead at 375 pounds
  • Box Stock Clone at 375 pounds
  • Senior Champ, Flatheads at 400 pounds, Animals at 425 pounds

The classes listed above will pay $500 to win with a $60 entry fee.

Also in the regular racing program:

  • Green Place Clone at 280 pounds
  • Blue Plate Clone at 320 pounds
  • Box Stock Clone at 330 pounds
  • Box Stock Clone at 350 pounds

The classes listed above will pay $200 to win with a $40 entry fee.

Dumplin Valley Raceway will host a Clone Shootout money race on March 19th, 2011. Here is the lineup for this go kart race:

  • Box Stock Clone Medium will compete at 350 pounds. This class will race for a $300 purse with a $40 entry fee.
  • Box Stock Clone Heavy will run for a $500 purse. The minimum weight for this class is 375 pounds. Entry fee is $50. First place will pay $250. Second place pays $100. Third pays $75. Fourth pays $50, and the fifth place finisher will receive $40.
  • Builder Prepared Clone Medium will compete with a minimum weight of 350 pounds. This feature will pay a $300 purse with a $40 entry fee.
  • Builder Prepared Heavy will compete at 375 pounds. This feature will pay a $500 purse and carries a $50 entry fee. First place will pay $250. Second place pays $100. Third pays $75. Fourth pays $50, and the fifth place finisher will receive $40.
  • Junior Box Stock Clone competes at 320 pounds. This race pays $100 to win. Second place will receive $50, and third place pays $25. The entry fee for this race is $25.
  • Stock Appearing Clone will pay $100 to win, $50 for second, and $25 for third. The entry fee for this race will be $25.
  • Box Stock Clone Super Heavy will run at 390 pounds and race for $100 to win. Second place will pay $50 and third will pay $25. There will be a $25 entry fee for this race.
  • Box Stock Clone Light will weigh in at a minimum of 330 pounds and will race for 100% payback on a $15 entry fee.

AKRA engine rules will apply to all clone classes. The only exception: open clutch rule. All Builder Prepared Clone classes are required to use a Billet flywheel. All karts must roll on Burris 33A tires. Builder Prepared Clone engines also run a large pipe, billet rod, and heavier valve spring.

All regular classes will compete for 100% payback on a $15 entry fee.
