Like a thundering herd, The Southeast Champ Karts will speed around the three-eighths mile oval at Citrus County Speedway on June 19, 2010.
This will be race number five of the 2010 Southeast Champ Kart Series. The Southeast Champ Kart Series is a traveling tour with 12 stops, 3 of them at stock car tracks.
At the end of the season, the to 10 in points will be awarded trophies and prizes. In addition, each track on the tour will award a Track Champions Trophy to the driver who earns the most points at that track.
Champ go kart aren’t the only thing on tap for June 19. Also on the bill:

If the the winner of the Champ Kart feature on June 19 has Vega Tires on both the right front and right rear, he or she will win one free Vega tire in addition to the cash payout and trophy.
Qualifying for the June 19 race will consist of two heat races. Each driver will pull a pill at registration. The odd numbered pills will be in the first heat race. The even numbered pills will compete in heat race number two.
A portion ($5) of each entry fee will be saved in an award fund until the end of the year. Another $5 of the entry fee will be used to pay for scoring. 100% of all remaining entry fees ($20 per entry), plus sponsorships, and track purse contributions, will be paid out at every race.
