Conway Speedway will host the Conway Speedway Summer Slam on June 12, 2010. Summer is here and Conway Speedway is ready to slam into it wide open. The track will offer huge purses and low entry fees for this event.
First up, Pro Animal will pay $1000 to win, guaranteed. The entry fee for this race is only $45.
Purple Plate Light, Blue Plate Light, and Gold Plate Light will pay $100 to win, and pay out through half of the field, guaranteed.
In the Box Stock Medium class, the feature winner will receive a new Box Stock engine. Second place will get 2 Firestone tires. Third will get one Firestone tire and $50. Fourth place will get one Firestone tire and $25. Fifth place will get $25. The minimum go kart weight for this class is 350 pounds. There is a $15 entry fee. This purse is guaranteed.
Animal Medium, Flathead Limited Modified, and Box Stock 360 will pay $500 to win with a $55 entry fee.
Senior Champs will pay $300 to win with a $40 entry fee.
Purple Plate Heavy, Blue Plate Heavy, Gold Plate Heavy, Animal Light, and Animal Super Heavy will pay $250 to win with a $35 entry fee.
Flathead Beginners 350 and Flathead Medium will pay $100 to win with a $20 entry fee.
The winner of the Kids Go Kart feature will receive a trophy.
The gates will open at 8:00 am. The track will open at 10:00 am. Front row reserved parking is $20. All other parking is free on a first come, first served basis. Parking will take place Friday night from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. For reserved parking, call Rick at 843-446-9353. Adult admission is $10, children $7.
WKA rules will apply in all classes except Box Stock.
AKRA rules will be in effect for all Box Stock classes. Box Stock go karts may run a large header. Shoe clutches, gasoline, and Firestone tires are mandatory. There is a $200 claimer rule.
Mufflers are required in all classes except Flathead Limited 360.
